Mother's Day Giveaway - Win Oregon Sunset Earrings!

Everyday is mother's day to me. Well, being a mom and knowing what it takes to juggle your life with children, husband, doggy, work and a hobby ...well whew! I could use the Mother's Day holiday every week! Don't you think?

I would love to tell you about my Mom! She is absolutely the most kindest loving woman I have ever met in my lifetime. Not only is she a wonderful mother to me, but she also is a kind person to all who touch her life. She has always believed in me, cared for me and truly supported me in everything I have ever tried. She has picked me up when I have fallen, and wiped many tears. Thank you so much Mom!

Here is a picture of my sweetest parents. I truly love them so much. And, I wish everyday that I can be closer to them! They live in Las Vegas, NV and think it is simply way to cold to live in Oregon. I have to agree. It is snowing right now..big huge flakes as we speak..yes in April!

But some of the best things my mom has passed on to me is good Asian cooking with lots of yummy vegetables, how to be kind and to remember those who have so little, and how to use all sorts of teas to help you feel better! My favorite present from her is my tea set. Her favorite is purple flowers, so I tried to make some for her up above called "Periwinkle Blues"! Ones that will last forever!

In honor of Mother's Day I would like to giveaway a pair of these gorgeous earrings called "Oregon Sunset ". High quality, beautiful Swarovski crystals are wire wrapped in oxidized and polished sterling silver wire . Every Mom deserves a beautiful sunset to look at! Or flowers that last forever!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

Mother's Day is special to me because I was still single and unattached when I turned old (the year after 29). For the first time in my life, I realized that I was never going to be a mother. It was really sad at first, but then I picked myself up and started learning all the things I needed to learn if I was never going to have a husband (I read Plumbing for Dummies, Electricity for dummies, etc.). In the end, I ended up getting married and having 2 wonderful kids. Every Mother's Day, I am SOOOO grateful that I have them!

My mom was a single mom, although she didn't start out that way, growing up in a world where women were expected to marry and have kids as their careers. She was unlucky enough to marry someone who decided, belatedly that it just wasn't the life for him.

She worked so hard most of her life that we didn't see her too mcuh, and now that she's retired and I have my own two year old (belatedly) I still don't see her too often she lives too far away in Ohio. :( I miss her.

My mother is my neighbor. My husband recently deployed and she is great at helping out with the kids. We all live out in the country and they had their roof falling into their bedroom(the house was built in 1918) and unfortunatly are not going to be able to fix it. She would love anything to brighten up her day!

Well, my mom is a great woman. She became a mother at the age of 16 and had a rough life with her 5 children working 3 jobs until she met my wonderful step dad and got married at the age of 35. While I saw how hard her life was I never heard her complain. She really has been a fantastic role model in the area of contentment. God has blessed me with such a great leader in my mom. She has definitely been there for me and helped to shape the mother I am today.

Mother's Day is special around my house because I'm Queen For The Day. We keep a trim budget (isn't that a nice way of saying it) So we give gifts of love. Tomorrow my family will clean the house, do the dishes, laundry, etc. And I get to sit on the couch with my feet up reading a book while my little "servants" bring me cookies or coffee. It's a lot of fun for all

What I love most about my Mom is that she has never once judged me, yelled at me, criticized me over the many mistakes I have made in my life, and still do make. I love that I can tell her all about them, the good the bad and the ugly and she will listen endlessly and offer up her advice only when I ask her for it! I feel truly blessed to have her as my mother and never take her for granted in any way, shape or form. She is kind, gentle and so compassionate! Thank you so much for letting me share a little about her with you! And, I adore the earrings, smile!

Christina - xristya@rock.com - My mother was very brave and endured a lot to save people's lives in the war in Ukraine, and then had to acclimatize to an entirely different culture and language in America (she had started studying law before that). I probably won't go through as much in my lifetime, since I've had the luxury of my life being devoted to the arts, especially poetry and collage work and writing of all kinds! We are so different and yet so connected!
