Everyday is mother's day to me. Well, being a mom and knowing what it takes to juggle your life with children, husband, doggy, work and a hobby ...well whew! I could use the Mother's Day holiday every week! Don't you think?
I would love to tell you about my Mom! She is absolutely the most kindest loving woman I have ever met in my lifetime. Not only is she a wonderful mother to me, but she also is a kind person to all who touch her life. She has always believed in me, cared for me and truly supported me in everything I have ever tried. She has picked me up when I have fallen, and wiped many tears. Thank you so much Mom!
Here is a picture of my sweetest parents. I truly love them so much. And, I wish everyday that I can be closer to them! They live in Las Vegas, NV and think it is simply way to cold to live in Oregon. I have to agree. It is snowing right now..big huge flakes as we speak..yes in April!
But some of the best things my mom has passed on to me is good Asian cooking with lots of yummy vegetables, how to be kind and to remember those who have so little, and how to use all sorts of teas to help you feel better! My favorite present from her is my tea set. Her favorite is purple flowers, so I tried to make some for her up above called "Periwinkle Blues"! Ones that will last forever!

My mom is my best friend. She has been out of the country on vacation for 3 weeks and I am dying! It truly makes me realize how much I depend on her in my everyday life (even though she lives 7 hrs. away). I'm grateful she took this trip with my dad...it made me appreciate them more than ever!!!

Everything about my mom was special. But what stands out most is she never gave up faith and hope even in the face of terminal cancer. This will be my third mothers day without her. I'll spend it with my dad, keeping eachother's spirits up.

Mother's day means more to me every year, since I became a grandmother. I love to see the grand children remember their mothers and remember me, their grandmother. My mom shares my home. She is battling a rare cancer. She has been in this battle for 4 years. I am amazed everyday at her strength. She says we shouldn't be amazed since she raised 6 kids. She had to be strong to tolerate us kids. WE were a little rowdy.

My Mom was sweet and loving
My Mom is my best friend. We have went through me dropping out of college and her pushing me back, Cancer, a surprise (wonderful surprise) pregnancy, she helped plan my wedding. She's just all around wonderful, caring, loving, best role model you could ask for. I love her deeply.

I also am an Oregonian, currently living in the Wilamette Valley. I can attest to the beauty of the sunsets here. My mom loved the beach and the sunsets too so her final resting place is on the side of a hill facing west toward the ocean and setting sun.
My mom, who is just 68, suffers from severe dementia/Alzheimers.
We weren't close before she got ill and had quite a dysfunctional relationship and now the person she was, is gone forever; so we will never resolve the issues we had.
I do everything I can to make her days as happy as possible now. We go to the beach quite often; we live on an island so its not that difficult. There are beaches everywhere.
Mother's Day is bittersweet for me; but mom will love the flowers hubby and I take her!
